Was here on 5th April to celebrate my mother in laws birthday with our family members. Reserved 4 tables for 40 pax. Contacted Mr.Eddie(the boss) for reservation, pricing and food options. He was so helpful from the beginning till the final confirmation and gave me quite a good price(the very best price in Jalan Alor) and some extras(FOC) to go along with our meals. Upon our arrival we were attended by Mr.Alan(supervisor), from the beginning till end he make sure all went smoothly. He was so professional in coordinating his team members to serve all our table with the correct beverages and meals. He even fulfilled few of our last minute request even when to shop was super busy especially during dinner hour. All our preorders were served well and with no complaints all the foods were great and we enjoyed the celebration very much. Their team members were so polite and very attentive. Great place to have your dinner and gathering with family and friends. I personally recommend this place and surely be back again as i want to try all the food in their menu. Looks like i got a very good reson to visit Jalan Alor

A restaurant located in the middle of the ever busy Jalan Alor. Tourist area (I know I know), but this particular shop has boatloads of local patrons actually! This will be my go to for dinners or late night suppers (opens till 2am). Fantastic food and attentive service at all times. Our favourites include their grilled stingray, stirred fried vegetables and as occasional splurge - one of the best chilli crabs in Kuala Lumpur.

Saw the reviews on Sai woo and decided to try. Glad I made this choice rather than going back to the old hunt! Ordered 3 dishes and all were great - stingray was fresh and juicy with nice sambal, fried kailan was fragrant and served wok hot, and the spicy kam heong cockles were delicious. Service was friendly and food served fast. It was really fun sitting outdoor near the walking lane and can people watch while listening to music next door!

The food was great in terms of taste, quality, portion sizes and full of flavour. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and black pepper beef and both were just amazing. The beef was just tender, soft and juicy. Great Chinese food overall. The restaurant also advised they were halal. I liked this place so much that I had dinner here twice over 5 nights. Thai dishes were just ok, their main speciality is Chinese to be fair. Over all ambience is ok, after all they are located on a busy food street. I highly recommend you try this place. No regrets.

Alor is always crowded. We had dinner here and ordered : grill sting ray, fried calamari, oat shrimp and bamboo shell (kerang bambu) and kangkung belacan The stingray was the jackpot, the calamari abit overcooked, other than that the foods are tasty. The service is fast.

Alor is super crowded, but this place is big, and have fast, good services. The indoor place is quite comfortable enough for big family. The food is amazing, the crab and the sauce is fantastic, the steamed fish is also good. The price, I think quite reasonable for tourist area

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Great Spot Along Jalan Alor! After walking up and down Jalan Alor Food Street, we decided to have dinner at Restoran Sai Woo—and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is spacious, clean, and we were seated quickly without much waiting, even during a busy evening. The food was reasonably good and tasty, with a wide selection of local delights to choose from. Prices were fair, especially considering the location and portion sizes. Overall, a great dining experience in the heart of Jalan Alor. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!
